Sonchiriya Movie Review: When you run away from other people but how can you escape yourself. You can silence the knocker but how do you silence your conscience. That’s why Sonchiriya is a spiritual puzzle movie, dramatic violence with provocative dialogue and with extraordinary performance.
Sonchiriya is a story of about 70s during the Emergency era, Man Singh (Manoj Bajpayee) is the leader of a merry band of dacoits, they call themselves baaghi (rebel). The important role played by Ashutosh Rana (Virender Gujjar) a policeman who against them and their aim was to only kill them. Sushant Singh Rajput (Lakhna) and Ranvir Shorey (Vakil) they both trusted each other. Rebel as they are running away from themselves to live from their circumstances. Their lives turned when a woman Bhumi Pednekar (Indumati) came with a sick girl (sister).

The film is about the life of dacoits and film dialogues are very impressive and Bundelkhandi dialect which is difficult to follow or to speak by someone else. They believe to follow their caste lines. The film morality is that Karma will never let you be free is going to catch you no matter what happened in life. The entire crew of this film, no doubt that their acting is superb. Manoj Bajpayee played an excellent role as commander of rebels. Bhumi Pednekar is good as she played a bold girl who never afraid of the die. At the last Sushant Singh Rajput has played his natural role of a rebel among rebels who hold the character with the high performance of being a baaghi. Many no-name actors also gave their best to catch all the audience.

But Sonchiriya film has the potential to catch the audience interest with drama, caste politics with some real action in the dust field and dacoit role which makes this film all in one.
