Luka Chuppi Movie Review: Luka Chuppi movie is like a situation drama with a comedy film. The situation they both have to live-in relationships. Guddu Shukla (Kartik Aaryan) is a news reporter in Mathura who works with his friend Abbas (Aparshakti Khurana) who plays the role of cameraman.
There is Rashmi Trivedi (Kriti Sanon) who is the daughter of political head honcho (Vinay Pathak). His party is against with boy and girls who indulging in love before marriage. After that, she joined Guddu’s channel and then love start between them. Guddu wants to marry her but she wants to test him and to the live-in relationship. They got an assignment and because of this, it makes that possible.
However, Babulal (Pankaj Tripathy) the brother in law of his elder brother and the neighbors threaten and make them upset.
Then Guddu and Rashmi, they both lying to all and finally in the ends, their families accepted that they are a married couple. After that, they want to get married for real. They make plans to do but their plans are foiled again and again due to circumstances and creating a hilarious situation after the other.
If we talking about director Laxman Utekar does a good job with this debut movie and adding unusual situation with all the character. The first half of the movie is packed with funny moments and end with an unpredictable twist. The second half too packed with quite laugh out laugh moments. There are two most popular songs (Coca-Cola & Poster) which thrown in at the end.
Abbas (Aparshakti Khurana) plays the role of a supportive friend adequately well, there are enough comic punches in his dialogues. Pankaj Tripathi plays his role as a regular in this genre but his role could have been etched our more elaborately.
The rest of the cast give their best contribution. Overall Luka Chuppi is a comedy, family entertainment and dramatic situation of their family. It’s a family entertainment movie not so loud or not so clear but sure the audience will love to watch.
